An overcast and misty start to the day but much milder then we have seen of late thanks to a change in wind direction. Late this morning and into the afternoon heavy rain arrives bringing some gale force winds and gusts of 50mph in exposed locations which may also cause some travel disruption for the commute home. Highs of 11°C.
This evening sees the gales slowly subside and heavy rain clear away North East and leaving us with some clear spells overnight and lows of 7°C.
For Saturday it shall be mostly overcast though remaining dry but breezy. Some brighter spells are possible at times if we're lucky. Remaining on the milder side with highs of 11°C once again.
Saturday evening sees a new area of rain creeping towards us from the Channel and moving across many areas through the night, clearing towards Sunday morning. Remaining breezy, lows of 6°C.
