A bright and sunny start out there this morning. Through this afternoon we're still likely to keep plenty of bright and sunny spells although an increase in cloud is possible. Generally speaking, light Westerly winds and highs of 9°C.
For this evening and overnight it is to remain overcast with winds increasing ahead of some heavy rain arriving between 3-6am.
For Saturday it's a pretty awful day really as we wake up to rain which shall turn progressively heavier as we continue through the day. Quite a windy day with gusts of up to 45mph around Channel coasts and in particular through the Channel itself where the gusts may be higher still. Much milder with highs of 13°C.
Saturday evening and through into Sunday shall see the rain continuing but turning more patchy as it begins to clear from 3am. Overnight lows of 12°C but remaining windy.
The next forecast shall be issued Sunday and cover until the 27th December.
